Cleveland Barons organization announced the signing of Jake
Coyle to a playing tender for the 2004-05 season.

The
Cleveland Barons announced on Monday that they had signed Jake
Coyle to a playing tender for the 2004-2005 season. The 5'7”
165 lb. forward from Brooklyn, OH , comes over from the Cleveland
Barons Midget-Major team. Jake has scored 16 goals and
added 14 assists for 30 pts in just 18 games so far this
season.
Coyle
has been in the Barons organization for most of his career. Last
season he was with the Detroit Honeybaked 87 team.
A
versatile player, Jake can effectively play both forward and
defense, making him a valuable asset to the Barons.
Among
his many accomplishments, Coyle has made the select squads as a 15
and 16 year old. In the 16 year old select tournament in
Rochester, NY, Coyle won the skills competition. He is currently
attending Padua Franciscan High School.
