DREW'S TESTIMONY
I accepted
Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior when I was seven
years old. But like many Christians, I thought that
after I found my place in Heaven, that was all there was to
it.
The real test of my faith came when I was thirteen and had to
start dealing with
the separation and eventual
divorce of my parents. I began to blame God for letting
this happen to me. I lost the trust I had for the people
that were close to me and began to be independent for fear of
being let down by the people that I was close to.
The Lord began to bring me back to him when I was 21 by
putting the questions in my heart of “Do I really have to
carry the burden of this life all by myself?”
I began reading my Bible,
Romans to be exact, and realizing that I needed to be saved
from my sinful nature. Only by reading the Word did I
realize how much more God had in store for me than I could
ever have for myself. He wanted me to change my life to have a
part in furthering his kingdom by sharing what his grace and
mercy had done for me.
I hope that you too will give up your life to Jesus Christ and
let Him be Lord of all of your life, and through that, glorify
Him because He has given you the gifts to bring him that
glory. Proverbs 3:5-6.
