JAM has begun it's first track season with it's first track team
in the summer of 2000. Under the direction of Head
Coach Billy Graham, a small group of young men and women have
begun training and competing.
Our Billy Graham is NOT the world
famous evangelist. However, HE IS one of Firestone
High School's track coaches and was an outstanding high school
sprinter in the 90's. Billy was the city champ in both
the 100 meter and 200 meter, running times of 10.5 (100 m)and 21.6
(200 m). His passion is to use the "track" forum
to help young people grow closer to God and develop their
God-given abilities.
At the present time, these young
athletes are benefiting from daily training under Billy's
direction and weekly devotional lessons from God's word. We
will also be providing sponsorship for them to compete in local
and regional track meets throughout the summer. If
interested, all participating athletes will also be able to join
us in special college visits, special meetings with professional
athletes, group activities, and the opportunity to turn around and
help younger athletes as we have helped them. Each of these
young people are participating in this program knowing that our
emphasis is on developing their relationship with God.
