Mine is a story that has a foundation made of a loving family and friends in the US and in Brazil, but also includes the many ups and downs of life. I starred for a D1 team, rated #1 in the country at Akron, learned from mistakes, overcame them with God's help, graduated summa cum laude, and was able to begin the next chapter of my life. Playing soccer in the streets of Brazil shaped me and allowed me to move to bigger and better streets: those of professional soccer in the United States. I even saw my sports highlight beat Lebron James' highlight on ESPN's Top Ten!  

All of this was possible because God changed my life and allowed me to learn some of life’s tough lessons. Like Team Jam athletes across the country, I am committed to helping the next generation grow exponentially by using my sport as a channel for personal development, hard work, self-reflection, faith, and the pursuit of my dreams!

John (Team Jam) was and is still critical to the success of my journey. I am forever thankful to his guidance, support and mentorship! I am Victor Augusto Souto and I look forward to sharing more of my story with you!
